Roberto Emparan adelanta una investigación sobre la gravedad cuántica, que entreteje la relación entre la teoría de supercuerdas y la relatividad, además de escribir libros de divulgación científica. En Iluminando el lado oscuro del universo (2018) Emparan se sumerge en las nuevas preguntas que se hace la física gracias al conocimiento que hemos adquirido sobre fenómenos como los agujeros negros o las ondas gravitatorias. Esta conversación permitirá a los espectadores acercarse a diferentes incógnitas sobre el universo, tan misteriosas como fascinantes.
