DUE TO THE CURRENT SITUATION REGARDING THE COVID-19, FIRA DE BARCELONA HAS DECIDED TO CANCEL THE 2020 EDITION. WE WILL KEEP THE INFORMATION UPDATED HERE. 

 

The simulations on quantum mechanics will be present at the Science Space of the Saló de l'Ensenyament 2020. 

This year, the two workshops ClassicalLab and QuantumLab will be teaching us how simulate with the computer different experiments that show the quantum properties of matter.  In particular, we will simulate the movement of a gorup of ultracold atoms, the moviment of a soliton in an atomic gas at 0 degrees or the simulation of a Newton's quantum pendulum.

On 9th April at 19:00 the exhibition «Quantum» will open at Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) until  24th September 2019.  The exhibition counts on the scientific advice of José Ignacio Latorre, researcher at the ICCUB, as well as the intervention of different members and projects of this Institute.
