The exhibition “Dones i Física”, prepared by the Institut d’Estudis catalans  in collaboration with the Faculty of Physics of the Universitat de Barcelona and the Institut of Cosmos Sciences, will be presented in the courtyard of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans half an hour before the inaugural conference of the 2019-2020 course of the Societat Catalana de Física given by Àngels Ramos, researcher at the Cosmos Sciences Institute, ICCUB, and Professor of Atomic and Nuclear Physics at the University of Barcelona.

The display at the Institute for Catalan Studies will be open from 9:00 to 20:00, from Wednesday 18th September to Saturday 21th September with free admission. 

The printed version of this exhibition will be available to travel around the cultural and educational centres of Catalonia. A digital version will be available from the day of the inauguration in Servipartícules and Serviastro to download for educational porposes.

DONES i FÍSICA

What is the role of women in the history of physics? What are their contributions? 

This exhibition is a short tour of the experiences, scientific contributions and symbols that represent some of the women who lived in the past but are part of the history of today's physics.
