The researchers from the Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the University of Barcelona (ICCUB) Helena Ubach and Josep Maria Solanes offer a conference series on astronomy and cosmology, where they will delve into the depths of our universe, while learning about some of its darkest mysteries.
The series consists of three conferences on the following topics:
1st session: Gravitational waves – Thursday, May 11, 2023
What does the detection of gravitational waves imply in our knowledge of the universe? What do we know so far and what does the future of this new astronomy have in store for us? (Helena Ubach)
2nd session: Cosmogenesis: the origin of the universe – Thursday, June 1, 2023
What do we know about the past, present and future of the Universe? (Joseph Maria Solanes)
3rd Session: Life in the Cosmic Ocean – Thursday, June 8, 2023
