The ADMIRA Project (Activities with Medipix Detectors to Investigate Radiation in the classroom) aims to create a network of schools around the use of Timepix Detectors designed at CERN. The objective is to bring the Institutes closer to the research done in Universities and Research Centers.
The conference will talk about what is dark matter. If we don't see it, how we can talk about it? A review to its observation fundamentals and its state-of-the-art.
Register to the conference here.
Xavier Luri is a professor at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Barcelona, and director of the Institute of Cosmos Sciences. He is part of Gaia's research group at the ICCUB, where he researches on the processing and analysis of Gaia's data, and also on the design and implementation of mission archive operations. In orbit since 2013, the mission of the European Space Agency Gaia aims to make a detailed map of our galaxy. You can read the latest news at Latest of Gaia.
